Saturday 6th of August marks the conclusion of the 2011 season with the season finals being held at the Carey Grammar School Bulleen playing fields. The season has seen a number of amazing results by many schools and some development years for others. Saturday featured a number of finals with wins by Scotch College in the 2nd division, Haileybury in the 1st grade (second division) and Melbourne Grammar coming away with a hardfought 25-13 win over St Kevins. This Melbourne Grammar's third Grand Final and after losses in 1992 and 2009, this is the first win for the MGS.  

The MGS players this year were outstanding in their commitment and they deserve all the praise for making this special mark in the history of MGS Rugby.
